STORKS is a UK charity improving neonatal and paediatric care through specialist training, research and transport services.

Founded by a multi-disciplinary team, we empower clinicians with world-class education, fund targeted innovation, and support the safe transfer of babies and children to specialist centres – giving every young life the best start.

What we do

Education & Training

We offer a range of programmes that translate the latest advances into high-quality clinical care.

STAN - Stabilisation & Transfer of the Acutely Unwell Neonate

An intensive two-day course that fuses focussed teaching with hands-on workshops and immersive, high-fidelity simulations. Delegates rehearse the full referral-to-stabilisation-to-handover pathway, so they can move any newborn infant by road.

STAN-AIR

This one-day add-on drills into the physiological stresses of flight, civil aviation safety regulations and cabin-specific kit. Scenario-based sessions in aircraft mock-ups and inside a plane let delegates practise stabilising babies and children throughout the transfer episode, ensuring they are mission-ready for aeromedical retrieval.
